What speakers do you think would be better for a Comp System.
a Pair od Kenwood KFC-415C or a Pair of Kicker 05KS65
Yes i know they are totally differnt sized speakers but yea....
If you could help i would appreciate it.

I hate to even say it, man - as I am actually a die-hard Kenwood loyalist.
I haven't in years and won't own another brand of HU.
I had a pair of their eXcelon 10s some years ago and they were decent for what I paid for them.
I've listened to many of their coaxs and components, though, and found all of them to simply not be worth the money.![]()
Yea i mean they sound good b.c i tested them but Im going a Full Kicker Audio Truck so that was another Deciding factor for me

yeah kicker would definitely win. For the most part, i agree with prowler. Their Excelon head units are VERY nice.
The only subs i like are their top of the line excelon ones. I thought they sounded alright.
speakers... eh not so good.
If your HU is a dual, i'd suggest getting something a LOT better if your gonna be putting that kinda money into your sound system.
Yea....Iv havent seen to many ppl with KenWood so i dindt know.
I like the Dual headunit it looks nice and does great so far....I cant really compair tho b.c i had a Dual in my Car Also...so maybe im just blind right now and cant tell whats good lol....I was looking at that new Alpine IDX-X001

I actually have a pair of the Kicker KS65, and they are awesome for the price. Right now, they are being powered off of my Kenwood headunit, and it still sounds good, would love to hear how they sound amped.

Well, the Kicker KS65 's are coax's, so the tweeter is mounted in the center of the mid. But if you were talking about the Kicker KS65.2 's, those are the comps, and they come with their own crossovers.
