How is 26 x 2 rms > than 4 x 100 rms (active setup)

Hey just got an alpine 9835 and decided to go active with my QSD 216's...and as it turns out my CDT's hooked to the deck (at 26 rms) are louder than my front QSD's?
Keep in mind that my gains are atleast at half...........any one have any suggestions?

....you baysssstard yea i have a feeling i screwed something up also (as i rushed things) and its probably bad..... i'll check it again tomorrow... any thoughts on what it could be?

check out the gains with a DMM, and make sure you put the jumper on the xover to "biwire" (i forget if it has that jumper, but if it does, switch it, stat.)

Make sure to put the crossover on the amp to Full or off and use the active crossover on the HU

i tried full.......then high pass......im gonna leave it on full and fool around with them.....may b my amp is not getting enough juice

Is this true, innsanes?? When running an Active setup, you should turn down the gains all the way on your amp, and just use the 3-way active crossover controls on the HU?
