The Dayton 7" mid is such a hard mid to work with that experimenting with tweeters is probably not a good idea.
Either pick a new mid with either a paper, poly or glass cone, or a more tried and true tweeter. I haven't found a tweeter yet in the under $20.00 price range that will play nice with the RS180.
The Mach Audio ML65 is a solid choice. Very inexpensive, and will be much easier to work with than the Dayton. Plus it's 6.5".

As for that crossover, I'd say no.
RobotUnderground on ebay is a great source for passive crossovers. Most he sells are old A/D/S passives. Most are 4 ohm, with reasonable crossover points like 2.6 k for the one I'm linking to.

Understand that no passive crossover will be optimal. Especially one you're trying for plug and play type use.
Either go active, (which isn't that much more money believe it or not), or get something prepackaged.
