im not sure...i do not know much about mids and highs.

are these are good deal/brand.

and good experiences....bad?

The EF's that I have are good on the highs but lack in midbass punch. Ive never heard the higher quality stuff. I think there is probably better out there for the money. But they are a good speaker.

I've been looking at there Eurosport components with the upstage built in. If someone could chime in that has experience with this it would be great.... thanks

I have the ES520 set. They lacked midbass UNTILL I deadened more doors. It made all the difference! If people say CDT do not have midbass, well then I would guess they did not have well deadened doors. At least in the ES series.

I have since changed my system, so my ES's will be for sale.

The HD series had the most midbass.

I have a CDT HD62 set with the latest 560 crossovers and latest and best tweeter DRT 26 silk tweeter that can be changed out for the aluminum i have aswell. Really nice quality smooth set with great midbass/range output....

My buddy has these CDT ES comps and the sound quality is awesome. they do not lack midbass what so ever, Great set of comps

railrocker just happens to have an old set of canton pullmans, the 3 way even. just never ran them. hehe
