Ive seen a few backwards prices what the better speaker the germs or the slc? And are these really that much better than the origonal 3 i mentioned

Germs are above the SLC in the food chain, CAL 25 tweet and a crossover that is very flexible. Don't take my word for it, see what the experts have to say.

Well im looking for someone whos heard any of the 3 i mentioned... To me the germs are jl xrs clean , crisp , good mid , sometimes harsh...????

I have the gems and they are a very smooth, mellow speaker.....THe midbass is plenty strong and the tweeter is awsome not one bit harsh, yet very detailed and crisp....the best part if your gonna rum em passive though is the crossover....it is very adjustable....

some dynaudio sets can be had easily for under $500.

also lotus performance is easily under $500 brand new at mobilesq and used sets of the lotus reference set can be had around $500.
