i have a set of DRT-25's and HD-6 Mids, i plan on running them active of an orion 8004 (100watts x 4) im curious, would the DRT-25's be able to handle 100watts rms? how should i set the gains to prevent them from being blow by overpowering?

NO they wont handle 100rms each.
Set the gain for 25 watts. That will be plenty. Use the gain setting tutorial in the amp section for help in setting it. Your formula for 25rms is sqrt(25x4)=10v to each channel.
hmm, im still not sure what wattage to give my tweeters, someone on another forum said 75watts, and you said 25, i was thinking 50, but im not sure, i will email cdt to find out
i have it set for about 35rms after gains are set but can handle 50rms on them if done right.
