    Alpine Type S

    Alright well i have the Alpine Type S 6.5" door speakers in my single cab chevy silverado and i wanted to hear some peoples opinons on these speakers...it seems that they have real good sound quality but they dont get very loud compared to many other speakers...just wanna hear what everyone else thinks

    blaze383 has a set in his jeep.... they sound good but idk bout the loudness b/c ive never heard em turned up

    my boys type s are super clear, off HU power! heard the type r coaxs have more bass than the S, i could be wrong/

    yeah the type S dont get too loud and they are pretty harsh at their higher volumes.



    Its 106 miles to chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, its dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Used to have Type S coaxials in my very FIRST system ever. For the money, they're halfway decent. You might want to send a little more power than off the HU though.

    If you're an indiscriminate listener and don't really care for optimum imaging, then by all means, keep 'em.
