Help with COMP set

So my bro needs a comp set for his car. He drives a 2001 nissan pathfinder. He has a JL 10w6 in a sealed box in his truck. He listens to mostly rock but some rap also. They are going to be pushed by the 300/4 from JL most likely. Price range would be around $200. We can go a little more, little less.

Im pretty sure they are the same at my 02 xterra which is 6.5 I have to call him to have him check it out and make sure though

I have CDT HD-62's in my car and I like them alot. Im not sure if I want to get him the same set because I want to hear something new. Any suggestions that stay around the same sound quality or better of than the HD-62's?? Trying not to go over $300
