The Hi-Vi B3S is $9.55 on Madisound. Very good review on Zaph Audio site.

are you gonna put a line array in a car?
Yes, I am. I hate my frontstage /that/ much.

yikes. good luck, those are more for ht duty than in car. unless you are making a wall for SPL line array work - you might want to reconsider and get a nice set of cmops man.
ill be getting some B3S's for my HT setup, i just finisehd putting together the enclosures for them a few days ago

the camera is out of batteries though
turned out really nice, i just gotta find out what the mounting diamater is so i can slice a hole in them sukkas.
how are you planning on mounting these? Line Arrays work by the speakers all being on the same plane, and their normal vector being aimed at the listener. If you mount the speakers going up/down the A pillar's, the normal plane will be shooting at your stomach, if not lower. I don't think it will sound good. Also, depending on your configuration, you more than likely won't even have enough room to work with in a car...
but if you are still willing to try, i would definately go with some decent PE buyout speakers, like...

Their off-axis listening can't be that bad, so it may work out if you are willing to try.

dont forget, these freakin things ARENT SHALLOW
so they wont even begin to think about fitting in the a pillar. you are just about SOL when it comes to line arrays as a front stage
sorry dude.

I was thinking across the brow of the windshield.

At the very back of the dash?
Reflection heaven.
At the top - where the headliner meets the windshield.

Ehhh......not a good location
I'd look through those two threads I linked. If you seriously wanted to do a line array, I'd look into the methods outlined in those.
i wanna see a pic of a line array in a car. like a bunch of those 2" auras (unless those were the "whisper" speakers mentioned in squeaks link.)

Yes, those are the whisper speakers.
