What speakers would you recommend(6.5 inch)...i want to put some in the front and the back, because what i have isnt cutting it for me anymore...
do i need a component system? and what would you say is a better choice, 2 way, 3 way?

if you must run rear fill, i would highly reccomend some form of time alignment. also, are you going to be powering these with an outboard amp? for coaxials, my first choices would be either the pioneer tsd-650r, the polk momo 6.5"s, boston SL65's, diamond d3650's, or the zapco iforce 650's.
i dont know exactly what outboard is...and i dont know what amp yet, it will depend slightly on the speakers i choose to run...and what determines if you have to run rear fill?Originally Posted by bri487

Most folks say to just use the factory rear speakers and have the fader set so you can barely tell that they are on. You really do not want alot of midbass or treble coming out of the back because it will screw up your imaging. Take all $250 and spend it on the front comps and make sure you give them a good amount of power and most importantly read the sticky on how to properly deaden your doors.Originally Posted by chris96camaro
outboard=external=not deck power. say in a coupe that was mainly a 2 seater, like a mustang or camaro, i wouldnt run rear fill cause nobody wanted to sit in the back of my cobra. but in say an suv where people are always in the back seat, or in a sedan, or something classy like that, i would run rear fill, but only if i had time alignment.Originally Posted by chris96camaro
