    REV Vs. A series

    i'm looking for some 6x9s with loud highs but clear

    which of these has better highs?

    Pioneer
    - TS-D691R
    - TS-A6991R
    - TS-A6981R



    Truck system:
    Pioneer P860mp HU
    Alpine SPS-171A Type-S 6 1/2" Comp's
    Alpine SPS-690A Type-S 6x9' speakers
    4 PG Octane-R amps
    3 Alpine SWS-1242D Type-S 12" subs


    ````````````````````````````````
    Car system
    4 Pioneer TS-A1681R 6 1/2" speakers
    2 Alpine MRD-M1005 amps
    2 Alpine SWX-1242D Type-X subs

    I would normally say go with the two way speaker. However, seeing that you have a truck with thirteen speakers, it is likely that the five way will be the most appealing to you.

    oh my fricking WOW why are you doing that with speakers

    sell them all, buy a GOOD component set and you'll be just as loud with so much better sound, and maybe two amps. and maybe all one type/size of sub?

    I can't decide if that post was serious, or sarcastic humor.....either way, I laughed out loud when I read it



    In all seriousness, go with the REV's IMHO. Better speaker all the way around.

    And, I 2nd the "WTF are you doing with all those speakers" sentiment.
