Whats comparable to DLS Iridium's (buying tomorrow so help or die... please)

Anyway tomorrow im going to purchase my speakers. Im planning on getting The Iridium 6.2s, but was wondering if there were any better options in the price range (im getting them for about 475 new) of 850 or whatever there MSRP is. I know its all opinion but what are some speakers you guys think are better in that price range?

Better is pretty subjective. There are, however, other speakers you could consider such as the Boston Z6, Focal PolyKevlar K2P's, Dynaudio, MB Quart Q series, Rainbow Pro Line or Pro-Vandiums.....there's more, that's all I can think of.

High power protect the tweeter better -- low power higher quality -- and just some tweaks... need to get some nice switches and make a little box for ya though...

The sets aren't out. Still just the mids from RE.

Got another one out yesterday -- should be installed this weekend if he gets to it... and another to be ordered fri... so more reviews should be out there from clients. I took it ya saw the pics of the first boards ? they aren't pretty looking but they are functional and hidden so... all you hear is the sound

yeah, they have a unique surround that gives them linearity like no other.

I have the space 6's in my ride and they amaze me on a daily basis.

just get the 6.2's and be done, oter options will likely cost more. Unless you want to spend more, then get something else. Any of those choices and you will not be disapointed.

Dayton RS 7" mids and LPG tweets. About $145 of DIY speakers compared to $700 on the DLS. Guaranteed to outdo those DLS as well

if ur gonna go comp set, the DLS will be fine if u enjoy a nice, laid back, natural sound.

however, like AzGrower said, i would much rather go DIY.
