RE Comp Install
I bought a set of RE comps 2 weeks ago from zachzchw. Great seller by the way, I had them 2 days later. Im sure a lot of you know what my car is, but heres a pic of it anyway.
1988 Ford Taurus LX Wagon
I have had a set of Pioneer 6.5" Coaxials and a set of 4" JDL coaxials as my front stage up until now: If anyone is interested in these, give me a PM as I have no use for them anymore
Anyway, on to the install. i took about 10 pictures of the process of the installation, but being the ******* I am I accidentally deleted all of them, so now all we have are pics of the final product. It took me about 3 hours per door, because I had to completely modify the speaker plates and I had to cut a hole in my door for my tweeters. but it was worth it.
Right Door (you can lightly see the midrange in the grille)
Comp amp with crossovers (temporary setup) sorry for the dark pic
Close-up of tweeter. I ran a empty speaker wire jacket behind the tweeter because it was a little too deep, and it gives it that nice, factory look.
All the random audio **** I have in my room... Yes I use a speaker box as a shelf
