Anyone with experience w/ Focal Polyglass 165v2....

How'd you like em?

They are rated @ 75w RMS. Anyone with experience pushing them harder than that? How do they take to being given more power? I have an Orion 8004 that I might hook these up to if I get em.

i own a set of the focal 165v2's and all i can say is they are sweet. i have them hooked up to an alpine MRV-F345 amp, a jl w1v2 sub, an alpine 9855 hu and it rocks. couldn't be any happier with this system. get the 165v2's u won't be dissapointed.

About 5 years ago I purchaced the 165v set to install in some custom kicks and a zapco 360 in a 83 300d mercedes benz. I have to tell you that these were hand down the best speakers I had heard at the time. With the right install those speakers will keep you stuck in your seat not wanting to leave. Right now I own DLS UR6s and I know with the right install they have amazing potential. I recomend you pick up those focals (people around here complain about the tweeter being too harsh.. yada yada yada... I doubt some of those people have even owned focals, let alone have a good install on them). They are great speakers.. don't let anybody else fool you.
