    Decent 6.5's

Hey guys, I am looking for some replacement 6.5" rear speakers for my car. I am not looking to spend 100's of dollars, just about $60. I know I am not going to get very good speakers for that kind of money, but I need something because mine are blown.

    Thanks in advance.

Also, how do you go about hooking up aftermarket 6.5's? Do the stock wires connect to the aftermarket speakers, or do I need to run new wires to my HU?

I think that the JVC 6.5's sound nice for the money, go down to a shop and listen to them compared to other brands.
You can use your factory wire without any problems, you just need to cut the plug off of the end.

I just checked around eBay, and the JVCs go for very cheap...

    Crappy, or worth the $20?

    edit- How about these?

Go down to your local audio shops and listen to some co-axials in your price range. Go for which ever ones sound best to your ear.

Theres usually Cadence coaxials on ebay for well within your price range. Pretty well reviewed, also.

I would consider investing a little more money for some coaxes. Its better to do it right the first time if you ask me.

They're only for the rear. Not much more than $60 should be spent for back there, otherwise you are pretty much wasting your resources (unless you are doing full 5.1 surround sound)
