What frequency range can the 6x9's play comfortably? I'm thinking about using these in a 2-way active system crossed around 2.5-3k...can they play that high? What are your opinions of the SQ of these drivers? Thanks.

I have not used them as a midrange. I installed them looking for better midbass in my wife's car. For the short time I ran them installed (100wRMS), they performed well, but that was crossed low at 400Hz.
