Correct. Did not have tweeters when I bought them. Has phase plugs installed. No crossovers either.

Don't hesitate brother man. They're great mids. The tweeters and crossovers that come with them only limit their ability in my honest opinion.

Free bump. I ran a set of these in an SQ setup and was only running 75 watts per side. I was amazed at how clean and how much midbass I was able to get from these. I agree with OP though, the tweets and crossover that came with these hinder the performance. That tweeter is harsh, extremely bright. And that was at the -3 setting on the crossover.
