    i'd say either of the drivers will do that. PWX are very smooth PA speakers. Heck even the UN are ultra smooth yet very loud.

    i think the evils are a mix between a PA driver and a low distortion reference driver. so they might be right up your alley @Austin175

    Thanks guys going run them with some ft1 tweeters for now while I try an find some of ppi or zapco leviathan amps.

    Those tweeters are what's going to be ear peircing. A mid shouldn't be playing that high

    Mans talking truth. Harsh is good description. To achieve highs that could hang with sub I choose to run more tweets vs easy cheaper route supers.
