Some minor tweaks to keep improving the Xcon. Moved to a hard Zcon cap. This was done because more and more people are using the Xcon in very high output installs and the hard Zcon cap can take more pressure. The other adjustment was moving to free leads with lead pads. This was done to save setup time at the build house to help speed up Xcon production as it requires the most build time out of any of our subwoofers. There is the same amount of lead surface so there is no sacrifice in performance and no lead slap.

Is it possible to get thicker concave dustcaps that could handle the abuse a bit better? Or would it affect the sub specs too much?

We tested and even briefly offered the Xcon with full Carbon Fiber caps to help handle the pressure while not effecting moving mass enough to screw with the specs, but we had constant supplier issues and consistency issues.
