Few SSA DCON 10" questions

I'm trying to enter the DCON into Winisd, but I don't have Z and Le... Are there suggested numbers for these parameters somewhere?

And for Diam., should I say 10 in. (converted), or the cutout diam, or vat?

Z is the actual ohms it's rated at. so 4 or 2. and LE isn't necessary.

I thought that was Re? what should go in Re then?

And... I suppose I'll estimate the cone diam... Unless I can find it somewhere else :p:

re is the dc resistance of the coil. gimme a sec and i will look it up

says 7.8 on the website so that is obviously when wired in series. so my figures should be fine.

so... 3.9 for the SVC I would assume?

Just throwing it out there, but the AQ SDC2.00 comes in an 8" version, if you're worried about weight, and its rated at 500w, butall the other AQ woofers are way under rated, lots of people run 2x rated watts to the HDC subs, so I imagine those little 2.0' s would take some abuse too

Talk to Bumpin' Goalie, he has 2 of them in his vehicle. I've heard them, they sound great.

The 2.0s are marginally cheaper as well...

Either sub will leave you satisfied.

Also, are you gonna mount it in your rear deck like you had talked about? Cuz i'd love to design the box, if you'd let me give it a shot

I think I'm gonna compare a DCON to a SDC2.0 for fun, once I get the appropriate funds.

i think the SD2.5 would be a better comparison considering motor size and what not
