ssa xcon 15'' or treo csx 18''

So right now i got a treo but my buddy wants to buy it off me for what i bought for.
Its loud and does good on my 1501d thunder mtx amp
But a new deal came up theres a 15'' xcon for 200 - same what i bought the treo for
Sub woofer 15" XCON
what would u do?
btw the amp does 1500 rms at 2 ohms

xcon 15 fo sure. That beast will knock yo socks off.

what would it do on sq?
cause i kno everybody told me the treo was all spl and it doesnt really have any sq. how would the ssa do on spl compared to the treo

anybody else got an opinion??

Heavily dependent on the install. The Xcon has the ability to get very loud in the proper set up, it also can sound quite good in the proper set up.

moar powa, csx 18s will take just about anything you can throw at them.

is there a way you could shoot me a box blue prints for it? cause it didnt come in a box. or any hints or anything i should know? im new but im like a little kid with candy i want to learn as much as possible

It means build your own box, or pay someone to design a box for you. That or you can actually pay someone to build you a box which can get expensive.

na man i like car audio cause i learn from it everytime i do somethin.
ive built a simple box before i just dont kno how good it was. is there a good webpage that will describe how to make a good box?
before i did 1 12 t1 in a 2.5 cub box with an L port to 32 hrts

There are a couple of pages on this forum that help, look in the enclosures section.




to make sure a box is secure, use liquid nails or wood glue to seal it up inside, along with screws for extra strength. Fiberglassing the inside also seals it up to prevent leaks.

xcon... i owned one. superb sound quaility and got very loud in a ported enclosure tuned to 32 hz and i have a pretty good sized car

so build a box. everyones gonna tell you to do the xcon but ive never been unhappy with treo once. they sound **** good. USA made shizze brah

Anybody got any blue prints? ive never done paypal or anything so i couldnt give no money,
but i would like to build a box or maybe try areoport? that'd be kinda cool

are you an adult with a bank account? If so, start a paypal up, link it to your bank account, and such, from there, probably cost you around 5-10$ for a design.
