I might be interested in the MACH5 IXL-12 v2 BR....
I was wondering if it would out perform or equal the Icon in output and SQ?
I loved my Icon when I had it, but I am looking for something different. It was in 2.2cuft @ 32 Hz, powered by JBL12001.1

Price Limit = $225
2.3-2.5 cuft. Ported
Tuning = 30-33 Hz
Power = 900rms
Car = 2004 Malibu Classic

Good sub, just order it. I was tired of asking around the forums, I just when ahead and bought every **** sub that I was curious about in having. Its better to listen for you self and experiment. Thats just me though, but anyhow, yes I had a pair of 12's, there impressive for the price, loved them.
See if you can find a Q or an IA DR in great shape. Or maybe an IDMAX, or JBL Gti. All of those are in the general range of the Icon. :)
IDMAX??? I'm really new to this scene but I've only heard horrible things about the IDMAX... Maybe someone could school me on this?
You are probably thinking of the coil alignment issues that some of the IDMAX's.
