Where did you learn much of what you know about car audio? Forums, books, tearing apart your stock system?
forums....started out on here
started going to competitions and meeting people, learning from them
Talking to a physics professor in the mid 90's is where it started lol.... man that is sounds sad when I read it lol.
Ive learned the majority of what i know from here. i was competing before but i didnt know jack honestly.
I learned pre-internet from car audio & electronics magazine, and the woofer cookbook.
I eventually made it into CA&E, the woofer cookbook not so much.
Started here. The various forums have a TON of information. Also a lot out on the internet in general on electrical principles and how they apply in a car and things like that. Haven't read an actual book on the stuff. The rest was just experience from my own vehicle. Hoping to finally get to shows once I get back to the states!
I taught myself everything I know.
Pretty much learned from forums and trial and error.
google and youtube tutorials, then diving right in, and checking with you guys on here. car audio have come a long way, especially these last couple of years.
Magazines, trial and error.......but that was before the interweb. Back when people didn't expect handouts.
friends and trial and error. so a few fires early on then ventured onto termpro in its peak days and learned of more then kicker and what not
