Now that would be a hell of a setup. I'm debating between the PS8, 3sixty.3, and H-800 right now.
Can you send me some info/pricing on the 8's, and some of the higher end 6 1/2's and tweeters? Thanks

I honestly feel that the top 3 dogs in the processor fight right now are the PS8, the 6to8, and the 3sixty.3. I would toss the H-800 out lol. For the two you have selected from my top 3, I feel that if price is a variable, look into the Rockford unit.
I requested some info from the rep about the 8s, because that is one of the few drivers I have no info on. I do have pricing on it though =P. Feel free to PM me with some more specific details on what you are looking for and trying to do =]
So I found my new crossover point for the tweeters lol. 1.25khz seems to sound the best out of all of my options available. It blends gorgeously with the mids.
How much volume can they take at that setting? What's your gain set at? I would loooooooove to have a pair someday. Other than the housing, what differentiates them from mine?
I'm renting a cc-1 to play with my x-over points, too. I'm hesitant to even try, let alone keep them, set under 3k. Although I would prefer it. I like to listen to it loudly from time to time, and I really don't want to eff them up.
For pricing for my mf speakers, cheaper than I expected :D I'll also have enough money to get an oscope. Doin it right this year!
actually got talked into the fb line. they look like more of what im looking for. cant wait lol
Geoff, I see you are competing in the Street category. Since there are no more pro designations I wanted to contact Steve to see exactly who would be competing where on Team PHD.
I have an email into Steve Stern for clarification. I will post here when I get it.

Hi Joe,
Sorry about the confusion.
We define Professionals in the Rule Book, so people know what we consider a Pro, but there are no "pro" classes, per se. We did away with Consumer and Pro classes years ago, and only Amateur Street in Sound Pressure League stipulates no Pros.
A Manufacturer Rep would be Master in SQL.
A Retailer can compete in any class in SQL or SPL.
Steve
I'm in stock class. And according to Mike I'm not employed by phd so I'm not in a different class, if that changes I will become strictly a dealer and not a rep I. Want to remain in ny class
Understood. This is straight from Steve, so any rep, of any manufacturer, will be in Master. So I would just stay put.
I just wanted you to know in case you ran into it at a show.
