Since you're a mod of this vend section, why not have users who've been here and attempted to provide insight be put into a random caraudio.com post here on how would you use it giveaway... That way you know it will go to someone who has some experience rather than some tom, dyck, or random ralph. Ask them to do a honest review and back your product dependant upon their thoughts? Geoff, just have a person/couple of people agree to do a review of the products. That will not only get your name out, it will also garner real world feedback from third parties. If some critical people like them more than what they currently run, their word of mouth would be the best advertisement money can't buy.

I agree with this. Something constructive rather than random. @av83 ; already showed how effective a good review can be, especially for a product that has little to no exposure here aside from yours and BnR's experience. Hell, if it weren't for the giant JBL MS comps thread on DIYMA, I'd probably still be looking for components. The lengths they went into describing the ins and outs of those drivers and tweets pretty much sealed the deal for me.

And who doesn't like free publicity anyway? Could be interesting to see what PHD would be willing to do for that as well so the burden isn't entirely on Geoff's shoulders.

I like the need/use idea and it helps the people wanting to build a better system. Its a much better idea than the System of the Month idea on SMD where people vote on how nice someones system already is then they receive products that are usually crappier than what they have and most likely wont run
