R.I.P. presents "Disturbing the Peace"
at Northglenn Cartoys

northglenn, CO.

We will be doing:

BassControl (2 out of 3 runs) winner moves on to next round.
129.9, 139.9 149.9.
First and second place trophy in each class

PSPL (Pure SPL) which is the Loudest possible SPL.
(mic placement anywhere in vehicle, Port, super port etc!)
Highest SPL Trophy only

Disturbing the peace ( loudest SPL outside of the vehicle)
first place trophys only in :
single sub - 2 12s
2 15s to 2 18s
3 subs and up

entry fee will be $30 regardless if you dont want to compete in all three events.
we encourage you to have fun in all three.

everyone should build a box specifically designed for the PSPL, (a super portwars style box!), and we will have a new competitive area for us to play in. lets try and put up some record numbers for loudest recorded SPL ever!

Sweet, Is "disturbing the peace" going to be windows down, sealed?

windows down, doors open. whatever it takes to be loudest outside your vehicle from 5 to 7 feet

but the PSPL section should be fun. just take some time and build a special box that is designed specificaly for the event, similar to super portwars and anything goes. as long as its powered by a subwoofer

we will do a MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS CHALLANGE... so if you think you can beat someone you issue the challenge and show up and put some money on the line.

nice idea id see this working in a basscontrol style 2 out of 3. but not spl.

yeah we will be doing 2 out of 3 on all runs for basscontrol

and i hope we get a big turnout again! 30+ aughta be fun

perhaps ill have some new amps and subs by the time i get back ;)
