I'm still trying to drag a few peeps from up here with systems down there for the show. My car may not be ready, might just work on getting my friend's system going.

Meh, I can't help but be honest that I was disappointed with a couple of the shows (not all of them mind you). Not trying to discourage, but if I drove 5 hours for a few of the shows last year I'd be a little ticked off.

As far as both cars, not sure if that'll happen. I need a new rim/tire thanks to a huge *** pothole, and I'm not rolling down there with a donut.

As for my friend's system, nothing crazy. Just your average daily system. 1 12" AQ SD2.5, power unknown at this point.Going to try and get a strong amp in his car before the show. But with the right box with his small amp now it should still be good for mid 130's.

I still need to work on something capable of mid-high 140's for myself again, I miss those trf's. 148-149 on music was intense.

I hear you and it's true that not all the shows were that great but if no one ever shows up then there will be less and less shows. I do understand that a 5 hour drive might not be worth it for a show that could very well only have a dozen people in it. Maybe this summer someone can throw together a show down by pueblo. I just think the best part of this very expensive and time consuming hobby is going to shows and getting a chance to see other peoples installs and the different gear out there.

Like I said I never entered, so I didn't even drive my gas hog of a truck.. I was in my 08 F150, pearl, with 22's. I went to a few actually, I dont know who put them on personaly, but I went to 3 in Albuquerque and 2 in Raton last year and I was kind of disappointed. But I blame my friend John cuz he said there will be many heavy hitters there and so I got my hopes up to see some big systems, but I didn't

I would be all down for going to shows if they were a little closer, regardless of how small they are.. Once a year Joe throws a show in Pueblo at the Fair Ground on Cinco De Mayo, but maybe myself and 5 other people including Pete from JR electronics are in it. And the way its setup isn't really a fair competition. When my friend John had 2 10's in his escort on 1k watts he was up against Joe who is a pro at it and has like 14k watts, more cone area and overall a way better system. I dont know if Im gonna go to them anymore either since its not very well setup. And having to pay a $20 entry fee to boot is not worth it to me. I know plenty of Army boys and friends in the Springs area that would go to every show there is if they were in Springs, hell even I would. Only things that go on in Springs is the crap ones put on by Drive In Autosound and the use an AC mic.

so you never came to a show in denver but you agreed with pyro about lenny's show's being sucky???? wtf what kind of crap is that???? you might as well stay home anyways and i know for a fact that the cinco de mayo shows are big! I just talked to joe he says your full of $hit and he's going to get me the result's from the show.he also told me that he run's dbdrag rule's 2-10's 2-12's 2-15's and so on. he also runs in unlimited woofer class so I dont see how your buddy with 2 10's would go up against joe. you should start telling the truth about ****. you dont have to lie to us. dont bad mouth people on the colorado forums you are going to put yourself in a bad situation when you do go to a show. there might be some words said.
