So the vans gonna be walled for the show?

[QUOTE=stevew007;5735691]so you never came to a show in denver but you agreed with pyro about lenny's show's being sucky???? wtf what kind of crap is that???? you might as well stay home anyways and i know for a fact that the cinco de mayo shows are big! I just talked to joe he says your full of $hit and he's going to get me the result's from the show.he also told me that he run's dbdrag rule's 2-10's 2-12's 2-15's and so on. he also runs in unlimited woofer class so I dont see how your buddy with 2 10's would go up against joe. you should start telling the truth about ****. you dont have to lie to us. dont bad mouth people on the colorado forums you are going to put yourself in a bad situation when you do go to a show. there might be some words said.
Thanks Steve for telling the truth. What up everybody, I'm finally on this forum. Could not stand back hearing bullshit stories.
Travis, What the hell is going on? I have always been cool to you. How do you talk **** about me and my shows?
Fact is I have had good turnouts for Cinco De Mayo Car Show every year. We had 26 SPL competitors last year, 114 Car Show Entries, and over 7,000 spectators at the Cinco Festivities. Year before that we had 32 SPL competitors. I try to run show as fair as possible by placing competitors in categories equal in cone area.( 1 sub up to 2-10's, 2-12", 2-15" up to 2-18", and 3 and up subs). There were six entries in 1 to 2-10s, 10 entries in 2-12s(Travis took second to Will Carr in his BMW with 2-12" Earthquake subs), Five entries in 2-15 to 2-18, and 5 entries in 3 and up subs, which I did take first place with 2-15s over Jason from Drive-In Autosound with 20-10s, Ricky Ingersoll with wall in Blazer and Mike Snead with 4-10s. If anybody should be pissed it would be Mike, but he was cool with the show. I never ran against car with 2-10s at any of the past Cinco De Mayo Car Shows. Entry fee is actually $35 because it is a fundraiser for youth dance group and we give out beautiful trophies. I can get competitor references to validate if necessary.
Travis, time to come clean and tell the truth. You will be a man to say that you were wrong and then we can move forward.
Steve, good talking to you today. Looking forward to hearing that van. Let me know if you want to buy my Kinetiks.

what up joe? good to see you on the forum

hopefully you get that stuff in on time lol
People seem to like to whine and bitch too much. Can't wait for the show, always good to check out what other people got goin on. Always nice to get to check some loud stuff as well![]()
Maybe I over exaggerated, and the shows aren't that "Big" as far as competitiors entered. The place is usually packed but with show cars. They have got a lot bigger over the past 2~3years, but what Im more getting at is its not a fair competition, the way the rules are for that show are not DB Drag racing rules as far as outlaw goes, and you out of anyone should know that. Also if I remeber correctly John B. the guy with the Ecsort was up against Will Carr as well and not only did he have way more power he also had you as his mentor basically and your crew helped him through everything as I remember Will telling me when we were drinking together. I remember it being not fair at all. John also asked you how could that be fair, and you said " I dont put you up against the other competitiors, the computer does it accordingly". I think if you are doing certain rules which your trying to keep even and just to make it seem fair, then outlaw should not be allowed and the mic should have to be at the dash. Only reason Will won was because he was able to play with his trunk open. Since that was allowed I feel I should've been allowed to put my mic in the glove box since thats how I build most pressure. I can see we dont have enough people show up to do real DB Drag rules and I got nothing against you (Joe) by all means cuz I've always turned to you for help when I was doing my blow-through and you out of all people know that well enough. If I needed to "Man up" to something it was over-exaggerating which I admit I did do, but you of all people know that the shows aren't played by real DB Drag rules and are not on the fair side for new competitiors. Metaphoricaly the way it seems to me when someone goes up against someone else they know they can't beat, would be like you going up against Alan Dante. Dont take it the wrong way. Im still planning on being there if Im not in Virginia by then, I've also got quite a few other friends looking forward to it cuz thats all he can talk about, right now we are walling his Taraus with 6 12's. Also you know my number Joe if you thought I was being a jackass you should've called me.

Travis, I NEVER promoted the shows to be DB Drag Racing Events. They are non sanctioned head to head outlaw format competitions. Categories based on number of woofers not wattage. I appreciate your response, but you did question my credibility about my shows. I never ran against 2-10s. Will is on my crew, so yes I give him advice, but there is no way to manipulate the meter.
Because it is outlaw format, windows, doors or trunk can be open and sensor can be placed anywhere in front of the b-pillar. You could have placed it in the glove box, but not in the box like you did at Canon City show. As for bracketing, ask anyone with a termlab and they will tell you computer decides who runs against each other based on qualifying runs. If you do not think the shows or I am not fair, then don't come. Yes I did not call you, but then again you never talked to me about me or my shows being unfair to my face or on the phone. I had to hear it from Steve Willis and on this forum.
