The guys at Finals running them were on 18 volt systems, so I kinda doubt it.

How was the show?

Could have been better, had 25 people register for the SPL portion. Keith managed a 164.5 with a taped up windshield, Derek McGregor hit his high with back to back 153.1's.

We handed out 3 special awards today too, Keith Fafard received our Competitor of the Year award, Derek McGregor received the Most Improved SPL for the Super Stock class, and Kathy Maclean won the most Improved Amateur SPL....as well as the Loudest Female SPL of the day. Since Keith was the loudest of the day he received a $100 check from Jammin 107.7, that will help cover the cost of a new windshield.

The SPL portion went well enough, aside from the generator not working at the beginning, and the mix up with the trophies they didn't order. The car show part was a total clusterfuck from what I've been reading on facebook and the car shows forum. They handed out the Best Of Show $500 check to the wrong person, forgot to offer classes they said they would, charged all different amounts of $$ for the entry fee's when you had someone with you, had no judges that actually know anything about cars, put trucks in car categories, put cars into the wrong categories......and the list goes on. From what I'm seeing, there may not be another show for them next year, or at least nobody will be there.
