It's still early, but who in New England is actually planning to make a run for Drags Finals in 2010?

I know Mike from Renots will be going, who else? If there are enough people looking to go then I'll see about getting more than 1 dB Drags 1X going around here. Otherwise I'll focus on something better, like TNESPL and NESPL shows.

Chris wants to do DB Drag finals but besides that most of our builds and efforts will be with NESPL. We still love the idea of an end of the year regional event with NESPL & TNESPL.

A joint finals or regionals would be pretty cool. The TNESPL finals was in August this year, thats way too early for me to end a season. If we had a location big enough to pull it off, we could pull off a TNESPL 3X and a NESPL show at the same location, maybe.

Hey Steve, T.J. mentioned a good idea to us awhile back about getting an indoor spot at the Big E. Its perfect for what we need it for and from what I hear the price is fair.

I thought about something like that for out here. There's a huge fairground near me that has some bike shows and flea markets when the Topsfield Fair isn't happening. I haven't checked out the pricing on it, not sure if I ever will. Hooking up with a car show has the advantage of not having to pay fee's, usually. Getting a show at a fairground will incur some fee's, and between those and the other costs it's not always worth it to host a show.

I was thinking that a membership fee for competitors would help a little with that. Either way I'm sure everyone one this site would love to have a north east finals event.

If thats the case then your in luck, cause TNESPL has a membership fee and a Finals.......and you won't have to drive to Tulsa OK for it.
