Hi my names Joel. I am a fan of car.audio and have been sinve my childhood.
I am currently an audio installer / window tinter and i work at a local audio shop.

My main questions at the moment are what type of subs should i put in my car? 2002 Lincoln ls the rear seats don't fold down some ls do not mine.
What type of enclosure would be best?
And what would you recommend between db drive k9s or jl audio w7s

If you work for/at a shop, I would suggest running what they carry. You will likely get a decent price and most shops request that you run the product they carry anyway.

I can get a really good deal on a full db drive setup. But just they way those jl audios look like some heavy stuff. Since I've been writing here just past 6 months ive only installed 2 w7s and that customer came back and asked to have the subs removed cause they were too loud.

Have any of you had any experience with db drive? Since that's probably the route im going to go.

I have worked with several of the former and current DB Drive products. Not all that bad, for the price you can get them for(assuming you get cost) they work fairly well.

i would like see a build of all db

Welcome. Start a build log for this build are torn between only jl and db drive? I had a single w7 and it was very loud, sounded great as well.

I would have loved to go with jl but since the shop I work for can better pricing with DB then that's the way im gonna go. Any suggestions?

Don't be down about not running jl, you have to spend a fortune to get loud with jl. And I'm not too familiar with db drive products, so I'm no help there :/

Oh and if you have speakers in your rear deck, I'd recommend removing them. Since your back seats don't fold down.

Ive had 2 ls's in the past both have had seats that folded down, maybe hit up some junkyards near your and find some that do. I doubt you have the infinity system that had the amp'd 6x9 subs, if so rip that out to, that would give you to ported entries into your cabin
