Newb from KS...
Figured I'd give a heads up. Don't burn me too hard, I'm sure I'll ask a few newby questions.
Here's What I'm working on at the moment and I've came to a point where I need to learn from veterans. I'm in the process of choosing quality components. SQ is a must, I appreciate all genres of music and want components that can handle anything I play. All help and advice will be much appreciated.

Unless you want advice to buy Pyle, Pyramid, Sparkomatic, you're going to have to do better than that...
What brands have you narrowed your choices to? Budget? Amp Information?
Bought From: itHertz, cdimic25, Sold To: Bettr n' Revrse, Silver-n-Black, Supra94, ebay rating 100% with 139 feedbacks (dchap123)

Yeah we are gonna definitely need to know budget and amp information. And your still gonna get personal opinions.
I always tell people if you see something you like and its in your budget, hopefully your local shop is the dealer. Cause then you can actually go in and hear the item, see it, and hold it.
On my opinion, Hertz, Focal, and DLS come to mind right off the bat when you say SQ.

I'd share pics but I keep getting denied.
I'm partial to the JL C2's as of right now because that's the best I've heard in person compared to other name brands in a sound booth. Brands I've been looking into, and have NOT listened to are Focal, RE, Realm, DLS, Hybrid Audio, Rainbow, most of which i've never heard of until recently.

Budget would be knocking on the door of $1200-1500. The less I can spend the happier I'll be though.

If you want good sound quality, the install is just as important, or even more so than the components.

Re: Newb from KS...
Anyways,... I was hoping to get the scoop before next saturday. My local shop (creative car audio) will be having their summer sale and before I pick up what they have chosen for me I want to make sure I'm getting what I really want. I know audio doesn't end with JL and my newbiness is still discovering top shelf brands. I figured coming here some of you guys could help a new enthusiast out in choosing the best products for my price range.
BTW: Vehicle is a 99 F250 extended cab. I have a 10w3v3 (0.621cu ft. sealed) in my center console firing back, powered by a JX500/1.

I'll be finishing it up today and dropping it off at the upholster. It's may not be the best quality work but I did better than I thought I would.
