New guy here and I need some recommendations for a set up.
Hey, guys.
I just started to get interested in buying some subs for my car. The only problem is I know nothing about this stuff. So that's why I come to you guys.
I would like some recommendations for my first set up. I need an amp and I would like two subs, maybe a pair of 10"s. My budget is about $300 to $400, which I know isn't much. I mainly listen to rap and I want to bass to punch pretty hard, but I don't want it to sound awful. My car has Bose speakers already installed, so I'm thinking I don't need a new set of speakers.
I also may buy a set of subs and an amp from someone I work with. I know the subs are Rockfords, but I'm not sure on the model yet. I listened to them today and I was pretty impressed on how hard they went.

Would you ever recommend Pioneer TS-W309S4 subs? If so, would the Pioner GMD7500M 800W Mono Block Class D amp power two of them?

that would be ok too. build custom box and should be decent for the price

Okay, awesome. I'm also checking out some Rockfords soon I might buy from a guy I know. I'll post those specs when I get them and maybe you guys could tell me which would be better.
