    oldschool newbie #2

hi guys, just wanted to introduce myself and tell you how i got here. First off I dont get on the forums that much but do know that its literally the only link left to the car audio world and its followers. i love music and love to listen to it loud and clear.

I got into car audio at the age of 13, it was the late 90's and my older brother was about to get his liesense. everytime we got a chance we would pick up caraudio mag and minitruckin. when my brother got his liesnce we drove all over the chicagoland area visiting various car audio shops and bugging there employees. However there was one man who worked at a highend home audio and car audio shop in naperville, il who talked to me and my brother for hours week after week, and he taught us everything we know today. this shop carried only the best, alpine, pheonix gold, a/d/s, mb quart, nakamichi, and even ground zero engineering. so at the age of 16 i had outfited my s10 xtreme with only the best in mind.

ive been in and out of car audio for a while now and am returning from my longest absence. it ***** to know that the 12v industry is dying and not what it use to be. but i have recently taken it up again as a hobby and am enjoying buying back some of the memories i had and putting together similar setups.

I really only have an interest in older car audio although i do love the new stuff as well. My focus is to gather some old adst products that ive always wanted and hope i can do that with the assistance of members from various forums incluing this one.

wish the best to all. and look foward to being a member of caraudio.com

Eddie Izzard: Squirrels always eat nuts with two hands, always two hands, "arararar", and occasionally, they stop and go...oh, uh, ah, as if they're going, "Did I leave the gas on? No! No, I'm a fucking squirrel!"
