Intro thread!

Hey everyone!

My name is Liza and I'm new here at Car Audio Forums.

Lately got into the car scene this year. I've done the regular modifications, but my first love is music! So now I'm going to be changing out my stock BOSE system.

Future Specs:

15" Fi Q (On it's way)
Rainbow 6.5 Component Speakers
ED Audio nine.1 amp
Pioneer Premiere p880prs HU

Still need to sound deaden the heck out of the car before I get everything installed. Cheapest thing would be to do the ground wire kit install.


I hope to learn from this community like I have from the others so please bear with me if I come up with n00bie questions!

Yep I'm the type of person that likes to ask questions/little research and with the help of my friend LeX (on here at CA) buy this audio system once and be done. LoL I'm really picky about what I buy too so it's gotta be the best for my $$.

What would you guys recommend for sound deadening?

I'm tempted to buy a bulk pack of Cascade Audio SD VB-2HDSP...or

SecondSkin Damplifier Pro bulk pack along with a gallon of sludge

My main concern really is the trunk and door panels. The floor I don't think effects much of the sound, but it's something I may do in the future.

It'll never happen. Pure and simple.
While your equipment list is certainly more than adequate (especially for a first-time setup) eventually you'll catch the upgrade bug as well just like all the rest of us.
