hello names toby. gotta 99 Tahoe LT with a small system thats kinda pissin me off right now (lots of engine noise through the sub even with the sub output turned off). but oh well just gonna keep tryin to fix it.

just ran brand new RCAs i think i need to ground out my HU. i know the pioneer avic-n2 is notorius for noisey outputs.

Welcome to the forums and for you engine noise problem, I'd deffenlty check you grounds. They are normally the main reason for engine/alt noises.
