Just an update guys,
Installed OEM match lights in my trunk for my amp. I overexposed the camera so that the light looks brighter than it really is LOL....I think I may add another light.
I really need to wipe down the amp

Why's it just sitting in your garage?! Noice choice of mods there.
Oh, and a buddy of mine is looking for RC's so if you want to sell them, definitely let me know.

Long story
I can't sell the RCs I already sold my stock rims to my buddy...
I can't bear to sell it but I got this other car payment I'm stuck with
Your ride is hella sweet man...any good twisties in your area?
We use to have a great local Bimma club in the Seattle area...DTM Power....
I used to be all over DTM........it was a great community with Dado. Then he started charging for membership, and I didn't have a problem with it, I paid anyways, but after this, it all died. I loved that place to be quite honest.
Lots of great twisties!! but they're snow/ice covered right now so my car would be totalled!!!
CaliforniaBoy, thanks for the welcome man........I really don't get why people do SPL....but that's jsut my opinion. Nice natural sound over huge bass and vibrations any day.

m coupe... sick
e36 m3- not as fun as people remember in the context of what's out there for new cars. needs major mods just to keep up. I love the fact that it is more of a driver's car, and i hate how the newer cars keep getting larger and heavier etc. though. It's too bad bmw has slowly crept into mercedes territory (big, heavy, higher hp because it's needed cars etc.) while at the same time my friend's at AMG have completely re-written the rule book about what that type of car can and should be (see any new AMG vs. BMW competitor if there is one) and thusly embarassed the company i had always held closest to my heart (bmw). Says a lot about the direction they've gone in that i'm driving a mercedes and an audi these days...
none of this takes away from the fact that this guy has a really cool car btw etc, and i hope it isn't taken that way. It is very likely that for the $ he spent the E36 m3 was probably what i would have purchased too.

I would actually have to agree with this guy. The thing I don't like about new BMW's is their lack of road feel. I feel every bump in the road, and my steering is tight and the steering wheel you need some muscle to turn it. I don't like the detached road feel of many of the new cars out there.
I love my car because it's unlike anything I've ever driven. For its time in 97, it as the best handling car in any price range (according to Road and Track beating the NSX, F355, etc), but the car IS quite old now. Definitely in a straight line I have no chance against many many cars out there. I do think BMW is still more performance oriented than AMG is though, just for the simple fact that I don't think many AMG cars come with a true manual gear box. The same can be said for BMW in their M5 and M6, but I believe they're releasing normal manuals soon for those cars (at least for the M5 anyways).
Of course all our reasoning is biased :P
