    WTB: HDMI Capable HT Receiver

Looking to buy an HDMI capable receiver. Needs to be at least 7.1 and have a remote. No brand or color preference. Scratch and dent is OK, priced accordingly.

Looking to buy sooner rather than later. I will be paying by USPS money order as I have no Paypal. I've been here for years so no worries.

Model number, pics and a shipped price to 36613.

if you want to put up a little time on a soldering iron I have an Onkyo 606 that just needs a few caps replaced on the HDMI switch board.

Re: WTB: HDMI Capable HT Receiver

I have a Denon that has a bad HDMI side due to lightning. I don't want to dick with it lol. Thanks for the offer.

edit: Anyone know good US based HT forums? www.avforums.com is in the UK.

Re: WTB: HDMI Capable HT Receiver

probably best to look at craiglist, pawn shop or ebay those HT receivers are heavy and might not worth the money shipped, might be almost the same price new or refurbished since they are not that expensive anymore

The ones I have looked at new are well out of my range. I'm hoping for a few year old one that someone is upgrading. That is the ideal situation. I'm also looking local. Not going to pawn shops though. Never found one that's not shady as fawk. Lol

Re: WTB: HDMI Capable HT Receiver

Budget depends on the equipment. I'm not looking to go crazy though. I don't have a set number.
