You can use them with your phone as a bluetooth headset or use them with your ipod and just listen to your music...wireless.
Great for working out.
I used it for my ps3 also.
The Motorola Rokr S9 HD retails for $99.99 but you can find it for as low as $50 + ipod adapter $20ish
