I found out the hard drive is what is broken! I finally got it to charge. Everything works fine other than the hard drive. I get a folder and an exclaimation mark every time i turn it on and the HD makes weird noises.

So im taking best offers for it at this point.

lol the hard drive is the piece i'd want lol/only piece i need to rebuild and old ipod from spare parts i have.... oh well good luck
