Fiberglass port flares, 8" and 10"

I present you port flares made out of fiberglass, to fit Schedule 40 PVC pipe. You only need the pipe and flares, no other connectors or rings to fit everything together. The inside of the pipe is flush with the inside of the flare.

These have been a constant development starting 3 years ago when I started building them. An results on the meter speak, in quite a few installs adding flares gained 1.8-2 dB on the TL.

The come in various flavors: raw (no paint, just smooth interior), primered inside, outside, both inside and outside, flanged or not. If you want any combination ask and I shall deliver.

$75 for a pair of 8" flares, raw
$90 for a pair of 10" flares, raw

    Primer inside: $10 / pair
    Primer outside: $10 / pair

    Mounting flange: $5 / flare.

Prices are shipped. Payment by Paypal only.
Please keep in mind 2 things:
These ship from outside the US and it takes ~10 days with Priority shipping (tracking included).
I build flares in my spare time, after office hours. So if I don't have flares in stock it is going to take a few days (depending on the exact order) to build them.

No. In the end, the answer is, always has been, and can only be... heat kills speakers. BUT, clipping increases heat generation, sometimes by a drastic amount. So to start a thread simply to state that clipping does not hurt speakers is, again, a half-truth at best.

    Thank you
Took me 3 years of hard work to get them where I like the end result right off the mold.

Let's bump this to the top with some installed pics:

148.5 dB (dB Drag style) SE motor, 1300w clamped

151.4 dB (dB Drag style), BTL 12, 3600w clamped, it's my junk and I gained going from 8" port to 10" port
