I'm not familiar with PSP ports because I have never used them. How long were the mid sections before they were cut? Also, I guess I would have to buy a new coupling to connect them together, correct?

about 14" and no coupling unless u want, u could always flip them around and use tape to hold them together without a problem, or you could go to home depot/lowes and get a cheap 6" coupling and problem solved..Lots of different options
