Imperium Audio Designs 4" Coil line

Just an FYI, we are in the very early stages of discussing a 4" coil 2k rms series. We are going to be working with 9.5"-10" low FS linear spiders, very large surround going to be working with around ~4" P-P excursion. These will be a SQL related driver and will be able to both sound very nice and get loud in each thier respective application. Stay TUNED!

Most likely a mid Q or so but to early to say what exactly we will end up achieving, we are wanting a lower FS in these models

I see no point in such a high level of excursion. the only time that I have ever seen it needed is when people try to play low 20hz drops in a 20 cu ft wall tuned to 50hz... subs fly then, but honestly, if you know what you are doing, what is the point of 4" of excursion?

People seem to love very high excursion drivers, and honestly we have yet to even start to test and see exactly whats going to be possible with our baskets and surrounds. Just discussion..

We just got prices in for the 2k 4" coil line... That will be coming possibly. Just an FYI the 2K rating is joke, we are confident that these will handle mcuh more than that! If you dont like the prices feel free to move on... As stated 4" 8 layer american made coil, 10" spiders, these will be good for around 4" P-P excursion, and list goes on pics coming soon. Now these prices are about 95% accurate when and if this line comes.

    12--$350MAP
    15--$375MAP
    18--$425MAP
