HAHAHAHA Those have Raven R3 ribbons with seas mids... About $2300 in parts hahaha! Man that is allot of money for enclosures!!!

Those are the only speaker design I would even feel somewhat comfortable about buying for over 20 grand, mostly because they've been around for ages and have established themselves at that price point.

Now, I wouldn't see myself buying anything remotely that expensive Diminishing returns sets in well before that point.

For the most part I agree Frosty. There is the $500, then $1200, then $10,000 price points where there are real jumps in quality. Beyond that it gets very hard to tell the changes, if the room is built right.

I couldn't even buy any pre-made cabinets...I just can't get past how much I'm paying for something I can build...it just bothers me.

I think he saw photo's of some line arrays and decided to build them himself Oh man, so many ribbons.... Decent woodwork but he needs to be schooled on how to build a proper array. Not just cram every amount of speaker he can to the front of a tower.

ripoff of the century...line arrays are excellent, but not very practical for most living arrangements. i'm running a set of open baffle NSBs with 6 in each speaker and they sound lovely, and get quite loud...but still can't touch my towers
