going to make some new speakers

now that i got my BRAND NEW SKIL JIGSAW i can begin to make my own cabinets WOOT. so i'm going to try my new saw out by building myself my own speakers from scratch. i'm not going to skimp on them this time, and i'm going to make some serious cabinets. what i want to know is if i should make them 3-way or 2-way. i am running 2-way speakers right now, and compared to my dad's jbl 3-ways, there really is not much of a difference to my ears. now down to the drivers. if i decide on a 2-way, i'll eliminate the mid:

ok wonderful, BUT what kind of circular adaptor should i use? i decided in school (i was reading the PE catalog behind my math book) that i would go with dual 7" goldwood smooth cones and the goldwood tweeter on each.

Should be pretty straightforward to homebrew a jig...just something to hold the saw, and your measured radius.

Personally, I would have bought a good plunge router instead, I'm not a jigsaw fan myself

Plunge router & table saw will do 99% of the work you need for box construction, and do it very cleanly.
