ok, after looking around for awhile i have come to like this setup.

but I don't know if I should go ported or leave it sealed, i believe i read some were to that you can use these subs in home use. Also in home audio is it better to have a high qts or a low qts, what are the pros cons.

I am guessing the best way to tell if a sub can be used in a down firing application is to call but is their any way to look ate the specs and tell if it is ok.

they are amazing subs for home audio. tune it to like 15hz with a nice huge box and it will pound like a mofo.
