Sony HT system, circa 1987
Hey, guys.
Quick question for you home audio 'philes:
I have the Sony rack system that I bought back in '87 that I am thinking of selling, and just curious what might be a reasonable valuation?
Phono: PS-LX520
Tuner: ST-JX430
EQ: SEQ-430 (9-band x2, 1 octave)
Dual Cassette: TC-WR730
Amp: TA-AX530
Speakers: APM-930AV (8-ohm, 150W nom, 300W peak)
CD player: deceased
Everything is 100% cosmetically and functionally, except the speaker cabinets have a few small scratches/dings...
Re: Sony HT system, circa 1987
maybe 50$, with new electronics and ht setups, i dont see much intrest. To the right collector i can see you getting more for your items.
Re: Sony HT system, circa 1987
Gotta believe that the oldskool amp would be the most valuable of all of the stuff....maybe the speakers.
They don't make shtuff this good anymore.
Only thing I really found in my online searches was the EQ, which sold on gheybay for $59 + $17 shipping

Just based on that I am certain the whole setup is worth well over $50, especially to "collectors" as you noted.
Re: Sony HT system, circa 1987
