Probably 2 dumb questions....
1.) Will a Noise filter or Power conditioner provide any benefits...reason I ask is because I have 2 Boston 8 inch subs and they have a standby mode (Red light when no audio is being fed through them) But when the AC turns on they will both turn green like audio is going through them and slightly "pop"
2.) Will swapping the original subs (Getting 120w RMS each)...for lets say 2 RE audio 8's be beneficial? or will the output be the same?
Re: Probably 2 dumb questions....
Sure, a filter could help. For both receiver and sub.
Swapping won't gain you much output without verifying the enclosure is suitable.

Thanks for the quick reply...I was thinking of getting a surge strip with a noise filter built in...and the other being a small battery back up ( got pc's hooked up as well)
And as much as I would like to tell you the specs of the cabinet,I don't know :(
