I'm trying to get this setup working. I got all the equipment for free. Sometimes it will play, sometimes it won't. It sometimes plays static out of the speakers and I can barely hear the music. Any thoughts?

Reciever- JVC R-X500B
CD Player- Sony CDP-CE215
Speakers- (2)Bose Acoustimass Cube speakers
Subwoofer- Bose AM-500 Acoustimas
