I need a cd player for my HT setup

I've read that the PS1 is thee of the best cd players you can get for the $(http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15484873/)...I might go for that but are there any other good values....Can the PS1 play MP3's?? I can't remember!

why not just use your ps3 and use the extra money on better towers?

How much are you willing to spend on a CDP? Interesting article about the Playstation, still not convinced until I hear one for myself though
